From one small seed.
Every business has a beginning, and ours started with something very small… a few strawberry plants in our backyard. 🌱
The idea for Geloofsbessie Strawberry Farm was actually placed on my heart by God years before I ever started. At the time, I didn’t know exactly how it would come together. I just knew that one day I wanted to grow strawberries and build something of my own.
A year ago, I finally decided to take that step.
I started in our small backyard, trying to learn everything I could. I spent countless hours sourcing information, learning about strawberries, figuring out what works, and sometimes wondering whether I was taking too big of a risk.
It hasn't always been easy. There have been challenges, uncertainty, and moments where I questioned myself.
But I persevered. 🙏
I took the risk, kept learning, kept planting, and kept believing.
And today, I can look back and see just how far that little backyard dream has come. 🍓❤️
By the end of this year, our goal is to grow to 2,000 strawberry seedlings.
From a small backyard… to a growing strawberry farm.
What makes this journey so special to me is knowing that what started as an idea God gave me years ago is slowly becoming a reality.
I’ve learned that sometimes the seasons when we struggle the most are the very seasons that produce the best things. 🌱
Sometimes you just have to take the first step, even when you don't have everything figured out.
Believe. Persevere. Take the risk. Keep going.
Because you never know what can grow from one small seed. 🍓
